Fourteen years later…

I am so excited to finally get to post this shoot.:)These siblings contacted me in November about recreating an old family photo shoot as a surprise Christmas gift for their parents. Just my kind of shoot! I love surprises and challenges. It’s fun to have a spark of inspiration provided by a client. At the top are the photos that they sent me (the youngest son wasn’t born yet). We got together Thanksgiving weekend for the shoot since they were all home from college. It was a beautiful evening with sparkling lighting followed by a wonderful sunset.

Remembering Steve Jobs…

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking, and don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.

He couldn’t have said it better. This is how I feel about photography. I miss you, Steve, but I thank you every day for all you have given to me and to the world.
