Every photographer knows that there are two magic hours for photography every day: one in the morning and one in the evening. Meaghan is probably the only high school senior ever who chose the morning magic hour for her senior pictures. I got to her house BEFORE 7:00 AM. I’m a morning person so I was thrilled and enjoyed having the sun pointing from a different direction than my usual beach shoots. It was almost like I was on the east coast. 🙂
We had a lot of fun with clothing and location changes. We started off at Pierpont beach…
Then we headed down one of the alleys at Pierpont Beach. There were so many awesome places for cute photos.
Next we drove to the little Amtrak Station near the Ventura Fairgrounds.
Meaghan changed into a suit that had belonged to her grandmother. I loved this idea!
We drove around Ventura Avenue where it wasn’t hard to find cool urban scenery for some great shots.
The murals infront of Bell Arts Factory made a perfect backdrop.
Love the colors of this vending machine for this urban setting on the Ventura Avenue.
